Things have definitely changed in the past few weeks. HVAC business as we know it is being altered as you read this. The Coronavirus has forced social distancing upon us and now we must run our businesses with little to no personal contact. Thanks to the internet, a plethora of available apps and communication alternatives, we can still keep in contact with our customers.
The main thing we need to do is remain positive and work on our positive attitude. Read, think and talk positive. The HVAC industry is not going anywhere, we are essential to both our communities and the world.
In home providers will need to follow CDC recommendations to remain safe, but it is still possible to service our clients while limiting personal contact.
Those of us who perform professional HVAC designs can thankfully work remotely. We can communicate via the phone, texting, email and even face to face using Zoom, Google Hangouts, Facebook or the many other available apps.
